I am VERY sorry to hear about the car accident. My mom was involved in quite a few of them and they were never her fault either. The last one paid for two trips to Europe because the driver was so bad and under-insured! I hope that the pain recedes and that you're able to have a good time at con. The one and only time I was there was 1988 and Scott was the only person I knew there! And I felt too shy to try and do anything with him.
Good to hear stuff from you. I wrote Scott recently and asked after you but he's a very busy man. I recently found footage of him doing a signing at the Picnic when Understanding first came out in 1994. Made me think of him, so I wrote.
Miss you folks a lot. Those two visits I made to Amherst are very fond memories. I wish I'd made more of them. I -might- be in California in early September. Will you folks be around then? Visiting my sister.
I'm so sorry to hear about the accident. We got t-boned several years ago and only I was injured, and since the other guy was at fault I got lots of chiropractic treatments and massages. *\o/*
Mario and I will be at the con this year for the first time in awhile. No Eva, because she's seeing her favorite Japanese pop star here in town instead. We'll be there Friday-Sunday, and my panel - to flog Fantagraphics' Wimmen's Comix collection - is Sunday at noon.
I'm sorry to hear about the accident and about your depression being a pain :( ::hugs:: I have frustratingly intimate experiences with both of those things and I know how much they suck. I'm here if you ever need to talk or just listen to someone else talk and not think about things ♥
I also miss you guys! Last year was such an anomaly where I saw you like, once every two months, that it's hard to go back to "maybe I will see you sometime in the next two years??"

Thank you for the post and update. Getting hit sucks. Getting hurt when the car takes a hit sucks even more. Don't be afraid to get your back/neck looked at, especially considering your prior back problems.
