Is LJ still fucking up notifications or are we clear now? Because it's kind of annoying to see a dumpload of notifs for comments I already knew about just sitting in my mailbox. Deleted them all today. Seriously, LJ, that notif system keeps going on the fritz ( Read more... )

Also, I agree about Tuesday. None of the good webcomics update then. I get online and I want to read Gunnerkrigg Court, and then I remember it doesn't update until the NEXT day. Frickin' sucks, man.

I knoow, right? Some webbcomics even update Thurs, but usually schedules are Mon, Wed, and Friday, or Monday and Thursday. Not much of the Tuesday.

It is an awesome webcomic! It is about an awesome lady wombat named Digger-of-Unnecessarily-Convoluted-Tunnels, Digger for short, who ends up very far away from home and attempting to navigate a world containing a talking statue of a god, an intermittently crazy acolyte, Ed (who must be read to be understood), a disturbingly hyperactive baby demon and a number of other entertaining things, including a hyena tribe and a small prophetic snail.

It's kind of amazing.

It's also drawn by Ursula Vernon, who is the same genius behind the lolwut pear with teeth. I heartily recommend it.

It kind of makes me wish I had the chance to model other curriculum off of TV shows and book series. XD I know I made a lot of Ninja Turtle jokes when we were doing the art unit.
