she's my man

I was thinking of genderswapped themes a while back, and one of the themes I wanted to have genderswapped was madness. I believe my exact words were: 'I wish that we could have a woman go violently insane over a man.' Now, I know we often have women going insane because of men, but I'm not sure how often I've seen them hit violently insane. (I was ( Read more... )

I know a lot of animes with crazy women killing a whole bunch of people, but I can't think of many with a woman going batshit on a man. I can only think of one...sort of. He's a cheating jerk and so she ends up stabbing him to death. But I think that series would piss you off because I know it sure as hell pisses me off.

You're seriously right, though. Damn I wish I had some power to have a show with this happening. It'd be amazing. I love the batshit insane characters no matter what.

Batshit insane characters really do have a way of making a show fascinating, don't they? XD

It doesn't even have to end with the woman going violently nuts on the man. I was more thinking of a female version of the asshole stalker male or the asshole`alpha male.

Let me just say I love the way you think.

To be honest, this is part of the reason I love the Sokka/Azula pairing--their personalities play so well into this sort of reversed-role control (Day of Black Sun yes/yes?). I think of this fanart regarding this subject.

...why yes, I think an Azula/Sokka/Suki on white steed Appa fic would do nicely *plotplotplot*

Isn't that the idea behind Kill Bill? However, I've never seen it so I may have no idea what I'm talking about.

I'm sure there are some crazy jealous ex stories out there, but I can't think of any off the top of my head other than My Super Ex Girlfriend. Then I remember why I haven't seen any of them.

Haven't seen Kill Bill either, but it seems that's not a controlling, dominant female so much as an angry, vengeance-driven female. Never saw Super Ex Girlfriend, and I have no intention to because I have heard such horror stories.

Do you mean more like Misery then or Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (I was looking more 'romantic' and outwardly destructive rather than controlling and dominant.)
