Oh, I like this. Very beautiful and lyrical, very intricately described and sensual. I love the trust and bitter sweetness, and I love how there are still issues between them but that they are trying to learn to get past it.

Thank you! Yeah, I think, due to the drastic nature of both of their choices, that their would be repercussions. And I'd honestly be disappointed if she didn't hold it against him slightly that he left her behind in prison. XD The fic really is all about trust, and I enjoyed writing it. Glad you liked reading!

Thanks! I have never written knife play before, so you know I went mad researching beforehand. I'm glad you are vindicating me by calling it well-written! I'm quite nervous before writing a kink like this, since a lot of kinks get a bad treatment in fanfic.

I found it flowed wonderfully, and the descriptions as Zuko thought about his rule. It really seemed like he was thinking it and I could really picture their actions perfectly and their voices coming out of the lines.

As for the kink in general, I found the descriptions of the knife, and just how he reacted and how she used it, very nice over all and quite believable.

Whoa, this is INTENSE. Your style is so flowing; so full of description, but not bogged down by it. I love it. Best piece of Maiko I've read in a while.

Thanks! I tend to try and cram a lot of descriptive writing in my stories, so it pleases me to hear that I didn't manage to burden the writing with my need to show everything in images. XD I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I could not even have imagined something so beautiful and wonderful and made for meeeeee when I left the prompt, but omg. omg!

This is everything I always loved about Avatar, but with more sharp pointy objects and teenaged sexings and oh, Zuko. Listen to your girlfriend, you will be fine. ♥
