remembering cinnamon

So, I just used the abalone shell beads I purchased at the gem show and a bunch of bronze-colored freshwater pearls to make a bracelet and necklace set for my mother. I'm hoping to buy what I need to make a pair of earrings, as well. Since my mom has delicate ears, the posts will need to be gold, so that should be fun to buy. I'll try to take ( Read more... )

(A) These two don't actually get together, per se. After a lot of sexual tension and mutual attraction and tumultuous inner monologues, they start having a romantic nonrelationship full of innuendo and subtle hints. Then they have sex. And keep on doing it. And she's in charge of harassing him if he does something amazingly self-harmful, and he attempts to placate her with flowers and amazing chocolate and even more amazing sex. And she sees right through it, but...there's just something about the amazing sex ( ... )

Awwww, that drabble is sweet! I love how frankly it's about the ninja life, and how the sexiness is all around the edges.

Writing about ninja life is just fun. That's probably my favorite part about writing in fantasy worlds: sticking those characters in the environment and playing around with it. Glad you liked the sexiness. XD

(A) They get together during an uneasy truce while they're stranded in some bizarre underground city of doom populated by alien creatures of immense power. ("Fuck, another one?" "You are familiar with such places? Interesting.") She saves his life twice and he proves himself useful enough that she develops a sense of respect. They make a good couple because...well, they don't make a couple. They make bouts of frenzied fighting coupled with awkward and adrenaline-fueled lust. They make a stick of dynamite lit on both ends, is what they make.

(B)Raphael does not have Leonardo's patience, but he is passionate enough to make up for this lack. With the lights out, the room plunged into darkness, (because he always insists on her inability to see him,) his hands roam her body, blindly groping, insistent and awkwardly forceful. These are the small hours of the morning, neither day nor night, in the smallest corners of the city. Places too remote for people to routinely visit, if humans know of them at all. It suits both of them for a ( ... )

Oh, god, Ouran. The fandom I never write for! XD

(A) Mori's soft spot for cute, childish blondes kicks in while Tamaki spends weeks in anguish over Haruhi getting accepted to Harvard Law and gets a full scholarship for the overseas college dream. He sits around and listens to Tamaki's madness and feverish daydreams and insane, rabid prattlings and eventually loses it to the innate, godlike charisma that is Suoh Tamaki. After many moons of Mori moping about and giving Tamaki stoic, lovelorn eyes, Hani convinces the twins to play matchmaker. The results are...devastating, but Tamaki and Mori eventually get together.

They make an awesome couple because, dammit, Tamaki is in there and any couple with Tamaki is awesome. XD Ahem. Also, it's two caretaker-like individuals in a relationship. Mori would be all protective and expressionlessly nurturing, and Tamaki would just flourish under the attention like a blooming rose. And would probably treat Mori like his personal dress-up doll. No surprise there.

(B)Mori watches in imperceptible ( ... )

Sofie/Dorian! And this can be part one of two. XD

(A) No one knows why Sofie and Dorian hook up. I don't even know why Sofie and Dorian hook up. I think everyone is inclined to blame it on juvenile fancy, bad tastes in SOs at an inexperienced age, the bad boy complex in Sofie, and subconscious pedo tendencies coupled with the knack of hooking up with the wrong people in Dorian. All of this together formed the ultimate Odd Couple. They are awesome because they creep the hell out of Barentine, but she ships it anyway. SUCKER.

(B)

Sofie is mature and perfectly capable of controlling her reactions. She prides herself on it, really. So her frustration is understandable when she finds she can't control some of the most simple things around Grey ( ... )

(A) Suki dies in battle against rogue Fire Nation soldiers that formed a sort of nomadic, land pirate nation. Ty Lee, a member of Suki's warriors, who had just been building a friendship with her, joins up with Sokka to hunt down the killers and avenge Suki. They strike up a friendship. She helps him get over his guilt and eventually they have a romantic relationship, though it would take them a while to get very close.

They would make a good couple because, well, they're both the goofier members of their groups, and her bouncy optimism would help him out with his pessimistic spurts. She's also thoughtful, and tries to help her friends out with their problems. Sokka would help give her some stability, and they'd both help each others' inferiority complexes.

(B)

"You don't want to go back to Kyoshi?" Ty Lee asked. Her voice, normally loud, perky, and obscenely cheery, was hushed. She tended to speak that way about the attack, about her fallen commander who had been his lover, about her family back home. She reacted to sorrow with ( ... )
