So, a little girl at the daycare came in crying today. Eventually she ended up sobbing, screamy, having hysterics, and being generally inconsolable. I tried everything; talking with her, making sure she got the snack she wanted, hugging her, sitting with her, and even giving her a candy. She was still miserable. Item One is why I want to be sterilised. I've had clinical depression with several complete breakdowns for years - and my doctors tell me that it's a neurological consequence of my disability. My friends, parents and (adult) brothers find it - and me - hard enough to deal with. I cannot image what it would do to a kid ( ... )

I'm not sure I have an OTP, either. I have OTFUCKNO, in which I really dislike a certain pairing unless it is done really well, and pairings that I PREFER, but I don't totally and utterly worship just one. Be that as it may, I do have favorite pairings, because I like the relationships between some character better than others. People are going to have a preference. I just hate it when the holier-than-thou canon shippers bash the hell out of the side shippers, (who have a vocal minority of batshit.)I hate it when people go: "BUT MY SHIP IS CANON", like it even matters as far as that goes.

And word to the feminism rant. It's like saying the only true feminists are lesbians and all women should live in a nudist woman colony and burn men in giant wicker dolls.
