Festival Soup

Well, FOS this year was a success, though I’d hesitate to call it a resounding one, but a success in that people came, liked the food and entertainment and nobody asked for their money back.  The stuff going on behind the scenes, while always tiresome in the drama department, had an added element of oddness this year for me.  That’s about all I can ( Read more... )

I know I have the will to take a hard line on this. Perhaps that’s what my elder had in mind when she invested us with that rite - because it gave us that power. It looked deceptively simple. But gods the weight of those words…when you mean it, that is….is not something to be taken on without a good lot of forethought.

Only an elder would understand this. And only one worthy of being an elder would run like hell from this. Which is why I "had my way with you." I don't mind saying publicly that you are WORTHY to be an elder. And it was an honor to bestow that power on you.

I think you deserved it. You are one of the few ministers still around from when i first joined back in 2002, and hasnt quit or given up on this community. You are a hard worker, and have earned your titles by rights. While most may think you are nothing more than an "Opinionated bitch", at least you have something real to hold on to. You stand by your convictions and your beliefs with the strength of the very earth herself, and I for one, applaud you Elder. I cant wait till they make you President. LOL

I know that there were parts of the whole that made the event slightly less enjoyable for some. I hope I did not play into that. I like leaving the drama to others as they seem to handle it quite well.

It was good to see you & to work with you in the kitchen. It feels odd saying that because I wasn't even work trade this year. :)

And as for being a bitch like Trevor said, I think the title looks good on you and you should run with it!

Much love!

I'm wondering why you keep saying that? That's about the fifth time now, so it must mean something to you. Perhaps it's time to figure out what that means to you.

Probably that the kitchen work trade people were not avaiable when needed.

In my previous coven, I, ummm, didn't make it to first degree, due to the chaos in my life - marriage dissolving, health/stress problems in part due to that, and I hadn't seen all of that for what it was, what i needed to do to take care of my business and be a Proper Person.

I miss them still, but i needed to be cut off from that source of love and support to acknowledge that I was starving to death at home for love, affection, sensuality, and emotional support.

And that was the only way I had the courage to get out.

Be a hard-liner, in this regard. People need to hear the truth, to own their shit, to walk their talk. To heal what needs healing, and to become stronger from the ordeal.

And, if not in this life, then perhaps in the next.
