Random Update and the Seven Things Meme

Feb 07, 2008 18:43

Hello there! Anybody miss me? :p

I know I haven't been around much lately, RL wasn't very kind to me in January and a crappy real life naturally throws off the fun of fandom life, so, I guess one could take this post as a warning that I'm back.

I actually enjoyed Persona (shirtless!Tom! wicked!Tom! pretty!Tom! Yays!) and although I mourned the ( Read more... )

I've been doubled tagged too, but so far I haven't done this. Maybe I will after all. I did a similar 10 things meme a little while ago, and I don't want to drive my flist crazy.

Looking forward to your update!!

1) But when I do discover a show I love, I have to watch things from the beginning and in order.Me, too! Which has led me to buy multiple seasons sets of a show all at once before, just so I can start at the beginning. And I don't watch a lot of television live, just Smallville and Supernatural right now. I watch a ton of other shows, but all the rest I watch a handful of episodes at a time, from iTunes, Hulu, or when the DVDs come out ( ... )

You should do it! Don't worry about driving your flist crazy. After all isn't that what it is there for? :p

Looking forward to your update!!

Thanks! I hope you enjoyed it!

I end up buying multiple seasons sets too! SV is the only thing I watch live right now. I'm still in the second season of SPN. (grr... my Season 2 discs ended up defective and I had to take them back, they didn't have any more sets and haven't been able to order replacements yet... gah... I miss Dean! Wah!!!) But of course when BSG starts again, that one I'll have to watch live too!

3) That's cool that you have a history of writing in your family. And your great-grandmother must have been quite a woman, I'm guessing a female in her profession was a rarity back then.

Absolutely! You keep hitting my kink, I'll follow you anywhere! :)

And here I thought I kept my Kal obsession firmly hidden.

HAHAHAHA!! *cough* Oh, I'm sorry, you weren't serious, were you? ;D

You were missed! Welcome back. :) I got double tagged for this too, so I had to share with you.

How neat about the writing gene in your family! I think once they got past their shock (if they were shocked at all - those old fashioned girls were sassier than we give them credit for) they'd be excited that you picked up the family talent. And flying lessons? How awesome! I'm very jealous...I always wanted to do that. :)

*huggers*  Thanks! It's good to be missed. :)

I didn't know my great grandmother too well, but I do remember my grandmother as being really open minded and very supportive of my imagination from a very young age, so she may have actually enjoyed my little writings.

You should take flying lessons! They're relatively inexpensive and a good skill to have. One of these days I'll finish up, I never soloed, which is basically the end of the lessons. It's not really hard to fly a plane, it's the landings that are the true gist of what one learns.

Yay! You're back! I was afraid what would happen to the Bizarroe love after Persona. Kind of funny how Biz was supposed to be the opposite of Clark, but he ended up acting the exact same way over Blahna. Maybe Lana is a meteor freak after all and she makes every male on the planet fall in love with her when in close proximity. *gag* Of course, I can't explain Lionel, other than that he is the Magnificent You-Know-What. Ah, Smallville.

I am honored to be tagged by you. This is my first tag! Wow, that sounded pathetic. I don't know whether I have enough people to tag.

"4. If I was supreme ruler it would be illegal for Tom Welling to wear clothes."

I laughed out loud when I read that, but I started thinking.. what if it gets cold? Must Tom Welling Junior suffer?

Welcome back!

Heh, I was really dreading the castration of Bizzy, but hopefully his noble sacrifice will not have been in vain! Besides, not even *gagcoughhack* the Bizana (sorry, I threw up in my mouth a little) can kill the Bizarroe love! I'm deluded like that! :p

I firmly believe that Bhahna is a meteor freak. I mean she wore a piece of green kryptonite (how emo of her to wear a piece of the hunk of rock that squished her parents!) around her neck for years and years. Her ability to castrate every male in her vicinity is frustrating as hell, but her ability to make everyone (male or female)  ( ... )
