We cannot live our lives alone
For other lives we touch
Are either strengthened by our own
Or weakened just as much

A great, big hug to you,
~Sean
P.S. Please get some rest.

I saw hwimsey's post on Sunday and have been thinking of you. Three grandparents in four years must be a lot to go through. I hope you know how much we all love you, even if we've never actually met you in person.
That moment when you see life leave someone is very powerful. Just before Christmas my wife and I had the same experience with her grandfather. In truth, the memory haunted me for several weeks. Somewhere along the way it changed, though. In a strange way I consider myself lucky to have been there at the moment it happened. Knowing that the person's suffering has ended and that they're going to a better place is comforting, even through your own personal loss.
We're all here for you. Take your time coming back.
