You ever take one of those surveys and one of the questions is "worst pet peeve"? I've always wondered what my "worst pet peeve" actually was. Sure there are things that annoy me, but they tend to be little specific things that vary by situation. What was that one annoyance that would get me every time

Heheh... I just have the radio and limited mp3 player usage in my car (small amount of songs on shuffle), and can't play CDs, so no one ever tries. But if I'm about to take a roadtrip in a friends car, I ask ahead of time how they'd feel if I made them a mix CD. For the most part, they tend to love it.. but some people are just "NOTHANKYOU" and thats okay too.
If I'm getting a ride from someone I'm not close friends with and they put on a shitty CD and I have to keep my mouth shut the whole ride and its terrible music... now THAT is the worst. Its like one guy in particular secret-psychicly knows the bands that make my skin crawl in hatred and prepares those CDs ahead of time.

I believe road trips are an exception too. In that case, cds are welcome. Plus you tend to take road trips with people you're closer with and they're not just acquaintances.

And it sounds like your friend is kinda jerky. As the driver, I don't usually just put on a cd. I'll have 6 cds in my changer and will ask which one the passengers prefer.

Yea it was my friend's boyfriend so we didn't get along that well...
I just got a new mp3 phone so I now have double the amount of space to fill with songs :D yaayyy, car rides will be that much better now! Now I wish I could get my car repaired ;__;

Hmmm...I don't mind...as long as the person asks without just grabbing it. It's like...they're your guest, in your car, as long as you don't hate what they put on, I go with it.

See, i don't consider them my guests. I think it more as, I'm the one doing the driving and putting forth the effort, you betta just sit back and relax. . especially if they dont put up gas money
