I got my diploma and my teaching license this week! I was a little disappointed that my diploma didn't come with a display. Especially after all of Sallie Mae's money that I gave to IU. Instead, it came with an order form to buy one for $15. Lame.

All I need now is a job to go with that teaching license. But I do have an interview this ( Read more... )

 We finally took the dog in for his surgery last week.  His testicles never dropped so they had to cut him open to get them out, otherwise they could become cancerous. Lo and behold, the vet can't find them. He said they found a piece of tissue on one side that resembles testicular tissue, but they sent it off for testing to be sure. The poor guy ( Read more... )

I am finally a college graduate! It feels strange though, knowing that I never have to go back to school if I don't want to.  I feel like school is all I've ever known to do with my life (hence being a teacher, I suppose).  I didn't go to my graduation.  I didn't want to spend $80 to rent a robe and all that jazz just for a few pictures.  I'll ( Read more... )
