Please pardon the lack of update. The whole parenting thing, you know.

Our house was recently hit by lightening, putting our computer out of commission. Thus we'll be denied for now a picture laden update showing Sage at each month of his life so far. Suffice to say he has been and remains cute beyond our wildest dreams, and even if our eyeballs ( Read more... )

Cute kid! Looking like the father is a genetic survival trait that's been bred into humans over thousands of years. Generally as you get older you look more like your mom.

Glad to see that you guys are doing well.

Is that true about babies resembling their dads? I meant to look it up before replying so I didn't come off as gullible if you were only joking, but I was too curious.

It is true. Since it is obvious who the mother is (you can watch the birth) potential fathers need a quick way to identify who the father is. The best way to do that, genetically, is to resemble the father. At least at birth.

I look mostly like my mom, but in baby pictures am a dead ringer for my dad.

I'm so glad to hear that things are going so well. Seems like a trend these days. Since you guys are in the Atl often, you should give me a holler. I'm out of school now so i have plenty of free time to hang out or dote on the little one. Hope things continue to be great!

You know, my girlfriend told me the George's in the Highlands is non-smoking. We should make a date to go get a drink there and bring Sage along. That's our biggest issue with taking him out. He's well-behaved enough, just doesn't seem fair to expose him to the cloud of poison.

Have you started at the hospital yet? What are your hours like? I hope you're enjoying it now that you're finally through with school. Congratulations.
