I really think so. Like the soldiers of the great Chinese empire before me, I have failed to successfully invade Japan. But it wasn't for lack of trying! I spent months in the library putting together a research proposal and searching for funding. All that worked out pretty well, but the joke was one me when I turned down the University of Michigan
