Basically. I love JAPAN. I don't like dealing with Japanese people as a foreigner. (Not everyone's the same, but a very, very large percentage are, lol.)
Yeah. Happens too often for my liking. Usually I can just ignore it, but when I'm already having a bad day it's like... just no. /imagines various ways to kill racist assholes
I hope you don't think I'm being rude by saying this, but it seems kind of odd that racist treatment would make you want to return to the states. I mean I guess as a member of the African-American community, I can say that I know black people who face racist treatment no matter where they go in the world. I myself have to worry about being treated differently based on how I look all the time. I guess I have never in my life been a part of the majority in any society that I've lived in and I've learned to deal with it because I don't have any other choice. Just seems like a silly reason to move, especially if there is no real threat of physical harm to you. There are places in the states I can't go because I could actually get hurt. If we don't face the challenge of changing perceptions around the world through our interactions with other cultures, races, and nationalities, we'll never change the way people around the world see and treat each other.
