She was still a little freaked out, but she was also feeling completely humiliated because of the way she reacted when she was attacked. As soon as Sam got Hoshi's voicemail, he went upstairs to see if she was all right. He got to her door and knocked, waiting to see if she was inside.

Hoshi got up off the bed and went to open the door. "Oh, thank goodness you got my message. Want to come in?"

"Sure," Sam replied. "Are you okay?"

Hoshi shut the door behind Sam and went back to sit on the bed. "I'm not hurt or anything. I just feel so ashamed of myself for the way I acted. I tried to fight back at first, but when that failed all I did was panic."

Jack was wandering around, bored with nothing to do. Hey...this is Hoshi's floor, right? He still hadn't heard back from her on the date thing. Or the not-date thing. Or whatever it was, because she sure as hell obscured it to hell and back for him.

He knocked on her door. "Hey, Hoshi?"

Hoshi answered the door. "Hi," she said. "I hope you don't want to go out tonight or anything, because I don't think I want to leave my room ever again."

Jack blinked. "Unless you've got a bathroom in here and a way to get food delivered, I think you have to. An' there's that whole classes thing," he said, wondering what's going on. But not asking, of course.
