it's good to reflect on those things... I often cringe when I re-read my entries from Freshman year. How did you guys not throw me in a burlap sack and drown me in a river?!
Also, Texas indeed is not the South or the West... it's the sort of place that they'd rather build a 14 lane highway instead of a light rail system to handle commuter congestion. (that was Houston by the way, and last I heard the highway wasnever completed haha).

Cookie, I for one, was all about throwing you down the river. I think I did ransack your room and steal a bunch of your red bulls. But then you won me over with your charm and always wearing that ill fitting penguin costume.
Texas is indeed its own entity. But, it reminds me a lot of the good things of the South that I had missed. BBQ and politeness for instance. And it has introduced me to the joy of guns and constantly threatening to secede.
