Tea and Lithuania anonymous September 19 2006, 21:55:39 UTC
I had tea today with a scone at work. It was lovely. I'm not sure if I like tea or coffee more. There are definately times for each and times better for one than the other. Today was a tea day...especially with a scone. Anyway, that's my two cents on tea.
About Lithuania...one of my best friends went and LOVED it! Good for you!! You'll have an amazing time and be stretched and make wonderful friendships. I'd love to hear about it sometime!
Love,
Abigail

Abigail's tea and scone sound perfect. But, lacking the scones, I sat and had a cup of Bengal Spice Tea.

As for Lithuania, it holds a special interest for me because of Chiune Sugihara who issued visas for Jews to leave Lithuania during the Nazi Holocaust. You should read the book about him, "Visas for Life". Perhaps you can even visit Sugihara House while you are in Lithuania. (http://www.balticlinks.com/news/story.msql?story=963592993)

PS We Elliots love stargazing. Also cloudgazing. And treegazing. Sitting on a dock and staring at the ocean is pretty good while you talk is pretty good, too.

sigh... I see I messed up my grammar again. I guess I'm thinking too hard about walking down to the dock to stare at the ocean!
