Teatime is dragged in, bloody and mostly unconscious, by a very affronted-looking Emperor Zhark. Upon reaching a flat, indoor surface, Zhark dumps him on the floor and goes to find another headmate, who can hopefully go in search of that SO-17 agent they recently met.

This leaves Teatime bloody and alone on the floor. Again.

Artemis has not been long in fetching Spike. He swears again. Any gentle consolation, any explanation of what being bitten entails, takes a backseat to the simple job of cleaning and dressing the wounds. He quickly strips Teatime of his torn shirt, and, reaching into his briefcase, pulls out a few clean pads of gauze to staunch the bleeding. Next comes out a simple bottle of isopropyl alcohol for the shallower, nastier cuts. He sets to work with a grim expression on his face.

Typist: So Spike makes house calls, apparently. I hope prose-style's okay with you, dear?

Teatime only looks at Spike vaugely through glazed eyes. He can't see much except yet another figure looming over him, a highly detailed mass of colors in the otherwise red-hued gloom. However, there doesn't seem to be much fur about, so it is unlikely that this is Fenrir returning to finish the job.

Typist: Tee hee. Yes, prose style's fine. Fine detail that you Probably Already Know: most of Teatime's bad wounds are hip region and lower.

Spike sighs. "Relax," he says gently. "You've been pretty seriously bitten. Just lay back and rest. You'll be okay." With a slight grimace, he moves to the remove the Assassin's tattered, bloodied trousers and dress those wounds.

Teatime is unable to actually voice an opinion on this, as he's quite sure at least one lung has been badly bruised or collapsed altogether. He's also in a lot of serious pain, and doesn't really want to move in any case, so he just lets Spike do as he will. He seems to /know/ what he's doing.

Only almost? A pity. I'd been sharpening the scythe and everything.

*were he not in the hospital, he would have responded with something like, "Yes, a pity. But now you have doubly reason to despise me! *cheerful smile*"*
