Two characters I really feel for, encountering each other against all odds, and a stolen moment of connection and happiness, out of time, for two people who need it. Just lovely. This is really touching.

And this sentence is perfect: "Finally, proof of alien contact, he
thought, and I'm making out with it." :)

Thank you so much, Ghostie.

(And thanks for repeating yourself for the world to see ;)

I hope you don't mind that I did that. :) I wanted to put my reaction to your coolness on public record. *^.^*

I love it.
And although it's perfect as it is, I'm left wanting more. They're so cute together!

Thank you! I'll take the wanting-more as a measure of how much you liked it--I too think it needs to end there, but it's always tempting to keep a good thing going.

Hiiii. Spoofmaster told me to friend you so it would be funny.

And did you see like every Phantom of the Opera ever made? From the looks of your icon it appears so. My friend and I are trying to do that. We have one left I think.

I think I've seen most of them. When I was younger I made it a point to collect all of them, and I'm still on the lookout. Good luck!

...ohhh. Didn't realize this was a story. Now I feel like a jerk for writing a comment on it without mentioning anything of relevence.

Sorr-eeee.

Oh, this is so interesting. And that end line is an evocative setup for a motivation behind Susan's changes in The Last Battle.
