Download Opera and try getting on Yahoo again. Yahoo Mail is incompatible with Opera so I'm still using the old version. There's a little pop up complaining that I should change browsers and it loads up the old one.

Well, that was a no go. I did download it, Yahoo said I should use a different browser, I said no, and it loaded the new sucky Yahoo version :(

Yeah, the inability to delete mail in batches makes it totally unworkable, amongst other things.

Why do you loathe Gmail - if you don't mind me asking. I love it and have used it for years. I used Yahoo at one time as well as my internet server, but wasn't crazy about their configuration either.

You can turn that off in Gmail.

Nods. It's under settings. If you're talking about mail being grouped into conversations. I like that it does it that way, but you can set yours up either way.

I've disliked the new Yahoo set up, too, for much the same reason. Being able to dump 25+ junk emails at once (while sorting out the 3-4 per page that I wanted to read) was wonderful. I should probably let Yahoo know I dislike the new version, just in case it would encourage them to give users the option of using the old-style Inbox.
