Why do you loathe Gmail - if you don't mind me asking. I love it and have used it for years. I used Yahoo at one time as well as my internet server, but wasn't crazy about their configuration either.

I hate, hate, hate threaded email.

You can turn that off in Gmail.

Nods. It's under settings. If you're talking about mail being grouped into conversations. I like that it does it that way, but you can set yours up either way.

I haven't looked at the setting since I first signed up way back when, so didn't know they now gave you the option to undo that.
