More fun with the Mad Scientist.  This time he has superpowers for you that alter your physical traits.

Animal traits. granted the guy who could turn into steel could win in a fight, but i think the animal abilities have a better all-around use. as you pointed out, there are many insects that are strong for their size. ants can lift 50x their own weight, and they're freaking everywhere.

PS - if i was in a swamp without nourishment, could i get the traits of a mosquito to drink blood out of other animals which would in turn fuel my body? in other words, can you adapt and trait of the animal?

Huh. Well, on the one hand you can grow gills to survive in the water, but getting the shit to draw and consume blood is about the same as growing a new over-sized liver to deal with pressure changes like a shark has.

I suppose it's possible, but why not key into an animal's senses to track down food, or even use a mosquito to find large concentrations of warm blooded animals, like say, humans?

that won't guarantee that those humans will be close by. it would, however, lead you to prey.

can i grow poison spines on the back of my feet like a platypus?

tough choice. But I would choose the animal thing. Had the materials for the first one not been limited to only solid objects, then I would change it. Because I liked Grunge for Gen13, one of few comics I read as a teenager. He's not the comic book character I would be if I had my choice, but he is the comic book character that's most like me. Both and looks and style of which he picks his nose.

If I had the animal thing I would travel like a rolley-polley.

I read too many animorph books as a kid to pass up B. I understand I don't get to BE the animal, but damn, if you conduct your ass kicking in a city with a zoo you'd be unstoppable.

I'm so torn between walking through brick walls or climbing them with the proportionate stickiness, strength, and agility of a spider.

B. Sure I live in the city, but there's pigeons and rats and roaches, ants, dogs, cats, and the city is only 3 x 13 miles. A 5 mile radius would be me covering about half the city at all times for whatever the hell people would be keeping. Hell, there's even a zoo in central park. I'd essentially be Animal Man at all times.

B is exactly how Animal Man's powers work, but operating in New York would make your pretty formidable. The cockroach alone would be a stong powerbase to draw from. Grant Morrison and JG Jones' Marvel Boy is a great example of that.
