Ooooh, tell us more!

If it were the Library at Unseen University, I would assume that the books are eating them... but I looked through your cast and didn't see any oraguntans...

Maybe I should update my castlist to include the guestcast.
STARRING
Russell Tovey as the Orangutan.

Better?

The story centers around Holly and her quest for what happens to her friend after she mysteriously dies during a power cut at the library where they are employed. Holly, Jake and Sophie were the lastest graduate employees of the library and are employed by the university for one year.

About ten years ago six girls went missing over the course of the school year and were never found. After investigation by the police, foul play was eliminated and it was always assumed that the girls just ran away or dropped out. They'll start making an appearance in later episodes in backflashes or as body pieces or brief cameo mentions.

And I already have the murderer figured out and several red herring clues which I won't be telling anyone. Yet. Mwuhaha.

Every library should have an orangutan. *nods sagely*

I LIKE PROFESSOR HUGHES. I WANT TO KNOW MORE!

Despite the mass infatuation of Professor Hughes by the student populace, the 38 year old man has yet to actually meet the right girl for him and has spent the last ten years working in Academia. He brings the crossword most mornings into the library and sits and talks with the rather endearing and nervous Librarian Jo (whom he quite fancies.)

Though Professor Hughes was interviewed when several girls from his class on Erotic Romanticism disappeared, no charges were ever brought about. Hughes seems to know more than he's letting on and is very skillful in avoiding Holly's questions about what happened when he was a young teacher.

A dating illiterate, he's trying to get Jo to go on a date with him through a subtle strategic use of books. So subtle that she's not quite getting it.

“I bought her a book. I might as well send out a mass email to the campus proclaiming that I will never, ever get laid again."

I find this quote unendingly endearing and keep reading it over and over again.

So subtle that she's not quite getting it. -- *snort* That is brilliant.

I think this sounds awesome. Please don't let Hughes be the killer, please! You will tell us who the killer is won't you? One day, not too far away?

I will do yes. I'm writing some drabble things as we speak. And I will probably draft the episode guide at some point.

Hah, this looks great. (No librarian cliches, though. I do nasty things to people who perpetrate them. ;-D)

But Giles! (Sorry, Anthony Head) back in the library. ...And something tells me you must watch Spooks. Which is the sign of good taste and I love your casting of Shauna. I was always very fond of poor Sam.

The librarian cliches will be there but only for the librarians to point at/laugh/mock (as I hate them too.)

He's so not Giles, a little bit sinister and serious. I was about to say I only have one spook there and then I went oh no wait...3. D'oh.

Hurrah! :-D Librarian cliches have an awful lot to answer for. Let us mock them as much as we can.

I love the casting and the sound of this show. I would dearly love it to be real. Are you tempted to write fic? I'm hoping so. Oh, and Anthony Head can be in anything he likes. As anything he likes. Heh.

Don't worry - it's merely that Spooks have all the best actors. What can you do? (She says, having cast at least 4 Spooks across two shows so far...)
