Series Introduction (voiceover by Sophie): When we are children we are taught to respect the library. We talk in hushed tones, stifling our excitement as we find the next magical tome that can transport us to fairy kingdoms or pirate ships. Libraries are a magical place when we are children but then we grow up, well, we forget. We forget the wonders of the library. And we forget the dangers.
I’d forgotten the rules, too late I paid the price.
This is a story, a story of my death-my murder in the library.
