when did you move away from the Hollywood Hills?

Last July. I miss the Hills, but the new place is far more convenient, especially for someone like me who doesn't drive...public transit along the Wilshire corridor is amazingly good.

That's something I never thought too deeply of...how you got around the LA sprawl to and from work as a non-driver.

It's a constant challenge. My mother still makes fun of me for moving away from the transit-rich Bay Area to settle in Los Angeles; she claims it's yet another sign of my addiction to doing the impossible. :)

Mostly, I ride the bus. I get groceries delivered (it's surprisingly cheap and easy through Ralph's). And of course friends very frequently come to my aid.
