chikotori posted another excellent translation of Gackt doling out advice to people in need, and also mentioned Gackt will be guest starring in an episode of Kimutaku's next dorama Mr. Brain.
I don't much much about Kimutaku, but based on what you wrote here, I am looking forward to any news of how they react to each other :3. Gackt just intimidates the hell out of most people so it will be interesting to see him act with someone who won't be affected that was (and is also not decades older than him).
Re: the comment on interviews being BS, all I have to say is I hate interviews. I've never gone beyond the interview stage in any application for anything (except for one but I failed the second round of interview anyway). Maybe I should start practising my smile.
I really hate interviews too. Gackt should hire us. Since work & academics don't matter to him, I guess his hiring requirement is maniacal devotion to him & his goals of world domination. What are you studying anyways? lol. I just realized I don't know!
I've also recruited people, and I'm a total cynic now. Someone with no experience who is honest, responsible and a quick learner is infinitely preferable to someone with a fancy resume, or silver tongued at an interview who lacks the above-mentioned qualities (in fact, those types often like to kiss up to the boss and pawn off work on others).
Well, guess we'll wait for reports from the Mr. Brain set. Look fwd to your translations hehe.
I wouldn't like to work for him though. I want to live an easy and relaxed life!
Ah, my course has a lot of maths and stats of the finance/economics related kind. It's not very exciting which is why I never talk about it.
Actually, I don't know what you do either :)
You know, sometimes I really dislike those silver tongued people too. They're just so good at talking their way through anything, something I always have trouble with, and yeah, they tend to be the lazy ones. Oh well, until someone develops an ultimate lazy-ass detector or something, we'll just have to live with those interviews.
Oh wow. I was really no good at econ. I think you write very succinctly though, so I would have guessed you were in a course with less numbers. Not that those good with numbers cannot write well. :) I did liberal arts stuff & enjoyed it and then went into law, which I didn't (don't).
You are right, a job under Gackt would be neither easy nor relaxing lol
i agree with every point you made, except I wanted to BRAG bout how when I was a kid in Hong Kong, I used to live RIGHT blow Tony leung,XD and I would tell all my relatives I wanna marry Tony leung. Then one day my dad told TOny that, and apparently he only nodded.
Last year when tony leung got married, my mum had to call me long distance to laugh about how "my first love is married, and the bride is not me" lol. I love my parents. :D
haha, i was 3 when i said all that, I have never met Tony leung in person before, and i don't even remember loving him, haha. All of that were hearsay from my parents. I think it was some martial arts drama he was in that was the catalyst, not sure. Although, Kimutaku was the first star I ever wanted to marry in my life, but then he got married, and I thought it wasn't right to fantasized about him anymore, then came Koichi. LOL. For a period of time, i was really in love with Leehom wang too, but I never felt like I have to marry him. i think I have something for man who has this tinge of melancholy within them.
I was at german Swiss! But I left really early, at grade 5 I think, how long were you at HKIS for? I know some pple at HKIS, not sure if we are from the same batch. :D I do miss Hong Kong a lot though, I barely go back anymore.

Well, it's really cool Tony Leung was your neighbor.
I spent time at HKIS; perhaps you did too?

Oh, German Swiss! :) No, I wasn't at HKIS for long at all. I like HK too. You should do a stopover on your way to Singapore!
