Coat adventures continued - sleeves

My contacts are hating me now.

Here's with sleeves. The left one is sewn in, the right one still pinned. The left shoulder has an ersatz shoulder pad in it, the right one not. I had tinkered with the sleeve pattern because it was too tight in the chest, so I reduced the cap. Now I'm thinking I reduced it too much.

It is looking good.

Looking at the sleeves, I want to see them on you, as that will make it clearer what has to be done to make it fit properly. Both seem to be hanging in interesting manners.

I've just successfully got the sleeves on and put in handmade shoulder pads (*almost* couture, woo woo). Just about to start on the lining - an ombre silk that goes from navy to midnight blue. It's gorgeous. :)
