Wow--that is so sweet that everyone wanted a copy of the newspaper. A historic moment--can't just bookmark that on your computer for posterity! After our discussion of newspapers being endangered by the internet, this is kind of sweet and hopeful. We just have to make sure that we MAKE HISTORY all the time in order to keep newspapers afloat!
Right there with you on Prop 8. Really angry about that, actually. Trying to figure out what to do next--it's going to the courts which is good (sooooo unconstitutional!) but we gotta re-wire our social attitudes in this nation. I mean, if freaking *California* can pass a ban on gay marriage, what hope is there anywhere in the nation?!?!
What a great idea taking Hunter with you! I vote by absentee ballot, but that's 'cause I've been there done that. I think I'll take a leaf out of your book and revert once I'm a mom.
As for prop 8... I'm ashamed to be a Californian. I can't believe it passed.

But the people there are always glad to see him, so we keep going.
