do you mean trust or reliability? it seems as if you're worried about a mix of the two. in a way, they're kind of the same. u have to trust someone to know that they're reliable and someone that's reliable is someone that you can trust. and what's funny is that i feel the same way. i strongly believe in the whole "i came into this world alone, and i'll leave the world alone," but forming relationships and making friends is what makes this life so wonderful and learning to put trust or faith in someone is a test that God has set out for us, just like he has trust and faith in us. you may not find someone who is like your dad, b/c that is a very strong bond and you've known your father longer than anyone else on this earth, but don't give up hope. :)
