Now, my friend is trying to get in touch with her sister in London. She is probably feeling as helpless and anxious as I felt way back when.

Just in case your friend and/or her sister have LJs: there is a comm here, london_070705, that is serving as something of a clearinghouse both for people checking in as safe and for people still listed by someone as missing. This post/thread contains links to both lists.

if you wanna look at my downtempo library, that requires alot of organization on my side. my library is a MESS!
