Intro Post
Been meaning to make one of these for a while, and today seemed as good as any other day. This is basically everything you every wanted to know (and something you probably didn't want to know) about me. So, here ya go:

Bio: I was born in Maryland, moved to Viginia when I was 7, then back to Maryland when I was 13. I live with my parents, brother, sister, 5 dogs and 2 birds. I do have another sister (who, quite honestly, has caused us nothing but heartache and drama the last 5 years). I love music and TV, and have waaaaaaay too many cds and dvds. I'm currently enrolled in college for Nusing, but I have two Associate of Arts degrees in Psychology and History. I'm a manager at a local McDonalds in the meantime.
Hobbies: Writing, reading, graphics, chatting, singing
What's In A Name: I go by the nickname "Iz" because when I was in high school, my name in Spanish class was Izabel (I was weird and preferred that spelling to the traditional Isabel). Several of my friends took to calling me that, and I adopted it in my screenname "IsisIzabel" when I was 18 and created it. Isis is the Egyptian goddess of life. The legend goes that Isis was one of the few goddess who came down to Earth and embraced the women wholly; she took the time to teach her people how to be self-sufficient and how to read. She is also hailed as the goddess of medicine (aptly put, since I have chosen to work in the medical field as a nurse). I have taken the screenname "IsisIzabel" to every board/fandom/account I have online for the last decade. Odds are, if you see that name, it's me.
