Mar 23, 2008 14:17

First of all, a big resounding Happy Easter to everyone reading this! I hope you got lots of goodies from the bunny. I know I did.

So sorry I've been MIA lately. I truly had every intention of finishing B&B by today, and had a plethera of icons I planned to make, and subsequently post, but all my wonderful intentions go derailed by...

Thanks to Katie ( Read more... )

I need help.

Or maybe I need to write my own Twilight fanfic to get it out of my system. My mind is whirling with all things Twilight.

But yes; they're amazing!

Katie aka clarksmuse? She was the reason I read these books too.
I love the Twilight books and while there are a couple of things that I don't really like and/or understand, I would recommend them to everyone.
You could maybe start with writing what you loved about it, your favorite character, your favorite part. I'd like to know if we liked the same things.

Wait... There's a fourth book in August?!? I didn't know that! It's awesome, I'll have something to read during my summer holidays! :D

The one and the same Katie. She's a little minx, getting me addicted to these books.

I think I may do a post just for the books. And I agree, there are some things about the books that kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Like in Eclipse how Edward was so dead set against Bella going to La Push to see Jake. I know he was born in 1901, but it's a century later. The whole 'don't do as I say because I'm the guy' thing irked me. Bella needed to tell him to shove it.

And YES! Breaking Dawn aka book #4 arrives Aug. 2; you can pre-order it from Amazon.com now.

The character I disliked the most was Charlie, especially in Eclipse. The way he's pushing Bella toward Jacob, even after she almost broke her hand punching him. I get it that Charlie doesn't like Edward and that he'll probably never forgive him for leaving Bella in New Moon, but he should see that Edward is the only one Bella can't live without.

Awesome! *adds to wish list*

Yeah, trust me. I'm so burned out on reading. Oy. My mind needs a break before I go back for round two and read them slower. I may wait for my own copies to arrive.

Speaking of my impending arrival: Remember that issue I had with the paperback/hardback and those speedy little Amazon devils? I figured I'll get both the hardback and the paperback - my cousin's 16th birthday is coming up and she's never read the books. Paperback issue solved and birthday present solved.

And I totally now about the Twilight movie - I've been hunting down pics of it on and off all day. We'll see what I can come up with.

I went to SM's website, but I couldn't find the section you were talking about. Who did she originally intend to play the characters in the movie?

And if nothing else, feel free to beat me over the head with your paperbacks until you can get the hardbacks for telling you about this obsession.

Does that mean I can beat you with the hardbacks too when they come in?

Uhh... Who is Henry Cavill? I see his pic, and he's purty, but I don't recognize him. I adore the idea of Danielle Panabaker as Bella, and Steven Strait as Jacob.

No, because that'll hurt more... and surely you don't want to hurt me 'cause you loves me, right? ;)

Depends. What are my odds of coercing you into writing a Twilight fanfic?

*sigh*

Yes, I'm that effing gone.

OK. How about the Chlean wedding? That would make me want to throttle you less.
