Ms. Iz Goes To Washington

Just got back from a little day trip to our nation's amazing capital. I can't stress enough how much people need to go there. My friend and I were only able to hit three main museums on The National Mall - the Natural History museum, Air & Space Museum, and the Holocaust museum (which I'd never been to).

I went to the Holocaust museum years ago...when I was fifteen, I think. Kind of like when I watched Schindler's List, I hesitate to say I loved it, but it was an amazing experience. The dark side of humanity is a surreal, fascinating and horrifying thing.

No, I totally get what you mean. I was equally disgusted and amazed at the same time. I was so excited to go through the tour, but so apprehensive. I don't think I've ever done anything that brought out such warring emotions in me before.
