Oh so brilliant. I kind of love Richard, in the way you love a puppy who can't do anything but look pathetic and beg for scraps. This was really well put together, and you used Allstar, which I haven't heard in ages, but was oh so appropriate.

Okay, you get the AWESOME VID WATCHER AWARD. Because - you get it! Yay!

I love how it opens with him all despondent in bed and takes you through his hapless, bumbling life until he's risen to the top at the end. And I kind of love that the way you have it, we go from standing O to the cast clapping him to him clapping himself. It's kind of, oh, Richard, don't look down.EXACTLY EXACTLY. I was worried about the subtlety of the implication of him clapping himself, but YAY YOU GET IT! YOU GET IT! I am just so, so delighted that you mentioned this, because as you describe the arc is exactly how I intended it, his rise on his own hot air, as it were ( ... )
