help me procrastinate!

I have a bunch of half-formed ideas about actual substantive things to post, but somehow I can't seem to focus on any one of them long enough to write it up. (Actually, I can't seem to focus on any of the approximately million and a half things I have to do.) Which is why I keep making long, boring, meandering posts about random stuff instead.
