How do you tell a cat that if she kills it, she is supposed to eat it?

But that would have been selfish! Clearly, she left the mouse on the patio so *you* could eat it.

Ah, she must be trying to fatten me up so my lap is more comfortable!

Sympathies accepted... that and my ace air conditioning makes life bearable. I mean, I *knew* that moving from California to the sauna like conditions of the South would strain credibility... but I didn't plan to have hot flashes at the same time... Oh, and bugs... stinging, biting, bloodsucking bugs...

*dreaming* of blue skies and cool crispness~

Hot flashes and bugs, aie! Here in SW Colorado I don't think anyone has air conditioning other than businesses. Plus, our house has thick, stuccoed walls, so it holds the cool really well; in the afternoon we make sure that the windows on the west have curtains drawn across them, and as soon as the sun goes down we open the upstairs windows and turn on the ceiling fan.

I hope your life gets more than bearable!

San Francisco was my ideal town... I didn't miss all that much direct sun and I loved the regular ocean coolness and fog... ahhhhhh!

I would also be much amused when we'd have a hot day (80+F) and really would suffer because there was no air conditioning nor could we even open the windows (downtown/financial district)

I lived out in the avenues (closer to the ocean on the west side of SF) where it very rarely got hot...

How come you lot get all the cool dreams and I get cueballs from space and the cosmic stone vagina and beach-ball operating mechanism? (It would be funny if the dream hadn't been taking itself so seriously.)

Hugh, you're more than welcome to share your livejournal with me. I could even help you with thespellin.

Because your brane needs a tune-up, obviously.

And I don't know how cool that one was, really. I wouldn't mind an actual kissing dream one of these days. It's been a long time since the last one.

It's cloudy and 75°F in Greenbelt! How's that for August? Alas, it will be muggy and sweltering again in about 24 hours.

My cats have never met a mouse, but I cannot imagine they would know what to do. They "catch" bugs but inevitably lift a paw to see and let the bug escape. Jackal would never offer another creature her bug. It is hers. Hers!#!@!!1!

I dreamed that I was accosted at a tennis court and shot in the leg. I think I am broken. Where are my sexy dreams?

Hee, I wouldn't call mine exactly sexy. But better than getting shot in the leg.

all she likes is dry catfood and the occasional bug. (Which she usually eats.)

Does your cat have any kittens, by the way? A cat who eats only dry food and cleans up bugs for me would just be ace.

Hee, she does, but you'd have to wrestle my six-year-old niecelet for the only one I still know is around.
