Hear, hear. Every time I go outdoors, I feel incredibly grateful to be living here-- especially when I hear the complaints of those in other locales.

And I think the Front Range has been warmer than here, based on the newspaper weather page. But in general, CO summers are so, so much nicer than basically anywhere in the midwest or east. (And I won't tell anyone how nice the winters are if you won't. My GOD, why do people live in places like Minnesota? Miserably hot summers, miserably cold winters - what's the POINT?)

Okay, is Due South out on DVD? If so, I'm marching over to pay a visit to my friend Mr. Netflix. Because I've been hearing about this series for years ,and for years I've been scratching my head over the proposed slashiness of a Canadian Mounty. Perhaps, after all, I can erase Dudley Do-Right from my consciousness 4-evah. We'll see, dude, we'll see.

I can also rec you specific eps to watch, which were recced to me as a starter kit. Seasons 1 and 2 are Ray V, Seasons 3 and 4 are Ray K, both are sexy in their own ways but CKR as Ray K is teh hott, and his eps were apparently made deliberately slashier. (They say "I love you" to each other! Also smooching buddy breathing!)

And I am in M&C fandom, sort of. *points to icon* Um, I wrote one Aubrey/Maturin story, and I've recced a few. I have another story idea but it sort of fell by the wayside. I think I might easily be persuaded, though.
