for...uh, porn, i'd say to go to discordia_intus, I'm a sam girl and she's got a great Sam/Jess up there somewheres, idk how you feel about OCs, but she has a serialized thinger up there with one OC and Dean but it's pre-show? IDK..

also, wincest_free is a good place to start? There's...some crap (a lot) but there are also really good pieces hidden in the crap, like those coffee beans from indonesia that apparently have to pass through a cat to taste delicious.

Thanks! I'll check those links out. IDK how I feel about pre-show but... after the shit I've read, I'll give anything a shot. I also found a comm called spngenficrec which I haven't explored yet, but plan on doing soon. I've literally found all of three readable SPN fics on ffn (all three of which were Dean/Jo). Had it been another fandom, my standards would be higher and I would not deem them readable. But... beggers can't be choosers and I've skimmed... literally 1100 fic summaries so far in search of ANYTHING BEARABLE.

I am horrified that I knew what you were talking about with the cat and the coffee bean. Though, I might have been more horrified if I hadn't known? IDK. It's bad either way OMG.

LOL, you know, apart from the religious points, it's not so different from the HP fandom. At least in regard to OCs.

Trufax. Mary-Sue-itis has infected every fandom. In this case though, I fear it's terminal. Woe.

I can give you a silver lining though. Read anything by musesfool. She's a terrific writer in every fandom she ventures in. I love her R/S fic and the few SPN stories I read were really good.
