Ooh. I like this.
I love how Claire decided she was going to do this from season one. And from the pilot, it was apparent that all Boone wanted to do was help, to do the right thing, to be useful. Claire doesn't even question him, she just accepts it, and him for what he offers. That is pure Claire. And that she notices how adorable he is, without it distracting her from her task...I love muchly, because it is so true.
And Boone is just a sweetheart. This should be included in the first season.

Oh, this is great, and the pairing is definitely unusual! It doesn't seem that big a stretch though, especially going way back to the beginning like you did here. They seem like a good match -- Boone trying so hard to be useful, and Claire with all her heart. Just lovely.
