Sometimes I would just rather forget. Feeling someone warm and soft in your arms makes it all seem just a bit colder. Listening to the rhythmic breathing of those around you lets you know you're not alone. Ignorance of better things is ultimately a solid base for contentment and it's a base I've been sitting on for quite some time.

Smoke slowly coils out from the burning incense stick. Thin billowing wisps dance fleeting before my eyes before dispersing out into the air. A short life only to have the smoke return to the air and fade away. Fading into the sky to become clouds, falling down to the earth as rain and growing once more as a lavender tree from the earth. I feel such an intense sense of nostalgia at the moment. It's almost as if one more mental push could send me spiraling into a memory.
