I realized today that I have, in actuality, made no progress, emotionally or physically. I have been drowning in escapism. I throw myself into activities that provide me with the opportunity to step away from the issues that are cutting into me. And I'm bored. A little scared, even. I am definitely hesitant

There is Someone who loves you unconditionally - and more than any creature ever has or ever will love you. It is God. You are His. He created you, and He has always wanted the best for you. He wants you to know this, so you can live in such a way that you will draw ever closer to Him - and one day join Him for all eternity in a
love relationship that will fill you with more peace and joy than you have ever known.
How sad that you are ignoring His Presence and trying everything else to fill you with the peace that you will never know without Him.
