that was very well done it caught Isabella´s personality I do think that she fantasized about killing him but didn´t want him to be dead at least not without apologizing. That was beautiful, thanks for sharing it

I can imagine Isabella using fantasies of revenge against her brother to prop herself up through the horrible years of her marriage. But I doubt she would have really tried it if she hadn't gone off the deep end when Thornton came back.

How did I not review this before? Excellent fic that captures Isabella's mix of hatred and underlying attachment toward Guy, and her horror at the thought of fratricide. (So ironic in view of the finale, of course. :-/ ) She also seems to share Guy's capacity for rationalization -- she's not really killing him, just turning him over to Prince John to be killed.

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. Maybe the Giz kids inherited the rationalization talent from Ghislaine? She sure did plenty of it justifying Malcolm the way she did.
