I worked both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. I love my job. But now that it's Summer, no one wants to go to the Museum and it has become very quiet :( This means I don't get as many shifts and that when I do, we have hardly ANY visitors there. Tis very sad. I've kept my eye on the education employment section of the newspaper, and also working at the Immigration Museum, I see a lot of ESL positions available. Naturally, I *imagine* myself teaching ESL to adult learners - whether that could become a reality or not though, I don't know and I'm not going to fool myself into thinking everything will always be perfect.
My whole point though, is should I study English or French as a second teaching method? In this instance, the English I am talking about is the type of high school English we ALL went through. Reading books, discussing plots, themes, genres etc.
I am pretty sure I know what I am getting myself into with the whole ESL thing.
