She'd kissed the Dib under the rockstar LOL that was just now starting to falter. What the slark had she been THINKNG? The first Dib disappeared after a few awkward conversations and she never saw him again. But the next...

"Eh?" Tak looks up at the bounty-hunter-turned-rock star. "Oh, Samus... I-it was the human I kissed before... He, eh..." Where could she even begin?!

*Pushing her instrument around behind her on its strap, the Chozo drops into a crouch with her back against one of the columns, digging an engraved flask out of a jacket pocket. She takes a sip of the mysterious contents before offering it to her partner.*

Take the time, luv, the fans can wait.

Tak takes the flask, not really caring what's inside but not really caring either. She takes a swig and hands the flask back.
The fans... Would Samus even remember anything she said to her?
"The human and I have... a history." Yeah, that wasn't helpful at all, was it? "More of a history than I've mentioned. I didn't recognize him because of the... because my brain wasn't working quite right."

*Dib wandered in a daze, trying to get his mind to grasp what had happened. And, typical of him, his internal monologue lacks that little internal something.*

Okay, what happened? Start where things get weird, and figure it out--you're a paranormal investigator, that's how you do things. Okay. Okay... not okay. The whole Nexus is weird.

*He scrubs at his face with his hands to clear that train of thought.*

Start with Tak. What was different? She had a guitar. And her antennas were forked. Is that a thing with Irkens? Does that normally happen? I don't know. My lips are still tingling--is that normal? Wow. I mean, wow... focus! Got to figure this out. And she had... was it a guitar? Maybe. Maybe she likes music? You don't really know much about her, except she used to be an Invader.

*He sighs, still trying to get his thoughts in order, and trips on a vine in the garden, going sprawling.*

Tak's antennae flick, and when she looks in the direction the noise came from, those antennae shoot straight up.
"Dib?!" She squawks, springing to her feet and stumbling backwards into the pillar she'd been leaning against. Her pak makes a muffled tank against the marble. "What-- how did you FOLLOW me?!"

*He scrambles to his feet.*

How did you--? Wait, you think I followed you? I was just walking! I just--

*He glances around, realizing he's gotten lost in the Nexus, and gives a nervous half-laugh.*

Tak blinks, and smoothes down her forked antennae, wincing slightly as she'd forgotten about the increased sensitivity. "Look, I feel I should explain myself for what happened a few minutes ago..." She starts.
