I took miss Liza June to the vet this morning. She'd been coughing and then suddenly disappeared under the bed, not to mention completely ignoring the litter boxes. Turns out, she has a respiratory infection, a fever, and ear mites

Respiratory infections are common in rescues, as are mites. She'll be back to herself in no time.

Even in the just 24 hours she's looking and acting like she feels better. Yay!

wow, when it rains it pours, huh? i think i can guess who you are talking about re your new potential roomie (i guess we are both getting some new living situations!) and that really sucks.

i finally got my paycheck situation worked out in metro, meaning bills are paid up and whatnot. i don't have a lot to offer, but what's mine is yours and i can float you a bit of moolah if it would help at all, just let me know.

Yeah, it's pouring over here... Actually, Dave (you met Dave - Mr. Harley Man) was all drunk last night going on about how things might not be so hopeless after all. We really need that extra dough to make it through. If he moves in, I won't have to get job a-numbah two. *sigh*

That's aweseome that Metro finally decided that you get a paycheck! Thanks for the offer, but our cards will get us through until we get something more permanent worked out. I just don't know what else to do, you know?

I am sorry! I have care credit which I can use for myself or my animals. It is just a credit card that I got for insurance reasons. I use it for when Chai has something that is costly. I used it to get my gum work done which was really expensive.

Yeah, we've got something similar. I just this irrational, neurotic hatred of debt and using credit cards. The fact that we've absolutely *had* to recently has been messing with my chi!! :)
