here I am at school killing time before the A&P study group at 9am. just talked to Dr. Prestidge on the phone and he thinks aidan will be out of the hospital by thursday because he's improved so much. his oxygen sats are back up to 98-99% and his cough has settled down to sporadic outbursts every now and then ( Read more... )

currently I am situated at mi casa but am heading back up to the hospital once the laundry is dry. aidan is responding well to treatment, his last bacterial culture came back negative for pseudomonas but now he has this virus called CMV? the docs didn't seem too concerned about it so I'm assuming it's nothing serious. he should be out in 6-9 days, ( Read more... )

The evil bacteria pseudomonas aeruginosa has invaded aidan's lungs. so right now I'm packing up a bag to take to the the children's hospital where I will be situated with aidan for the next 7-14 days while he gets some super duper killer antibiotics intravenously. just got back from deep ellum... casey took me to see the feds at the curtain club and it was a badass show. which is good for them because some agents from RCA records were there and hopefully they'll get a deal soon. met the lead singer, matt, who's friends with casey and happens to be a bartender at the loophole in denton. so now I can go there ( Read more... )
