I am glad that you like the little things that I add in there about Eames - I have so many things that I am like "Yes, he would do this or say this for sure..." and I just have to stick them in there.

I figure Arthur must have some semblance of a sense of humor - otherwise no one would want to be around him - and Ariadne and Eames have both confessed to liking him.

Sorry about the tease thing! I am trying to keep my chapters around the same length - hence the cutoff right there. Maybe it's intentional, I dunno! LOL!

But the next few parts are all party party party...

Thank you for your feedback!

Yes! New chapter!

I loved the scene with Arthur and Ariadne. It's sweet he's so protective of her.

And I love that Eames knew she wasn't going to be able to get ready by herself and sent help.

Also Eames in a suit. UNF.

Also I agree with saltagain I wonder when 'Ambrose' is going to discover that she's not wearing the scrap of underwear he picked out because you know he will.

:D

I am glad that you liked the A/A - I want him to be protecting but not condescending.

Eames in a suit is UNF UNF UNF.

HAHA! I am so glad that people are picking up on the underwear stuff. I mentioned way back when that they would definitely play into the story!

Thanks for the feedback

That was very considerate of him to send Nadia to help Ariadne. I know I always have a tough time with my hair too.LOL Very perceptive of him to take care of the small details like that.

Loved protective Arthur. He's such a sweetie. Hope Ariadne won't have to make use of that promise she made him.

Can't wait to see how the job goes from here.:) Thanks for posting!

I figure Eames is very perceptive and knew that she would need some help given that she doesn't exactly walk around in Glamour Barbie mode. Glad you liked Arthur!

Thank you so much for your feedback!

The whole scene with Arthur is fantastic. I wonder what he thinks is going to happen to her, and clearly with Eames. Wonder how they (Arthur-Eames friendship) are doing in the face of this. (as someone who rarely wears makeup, though, i found it hard to believe that ariadne would put on her lovely new dress, then try out makeup and hair, but i've seen my coworker do stuff in the office bathroom mirror in 10 mins that i can't do in my own bathroom with several mirrors in an hour) Can't wait to see Mr. and Mrs. Dixon in action :D

And happy going back to school!

Glad you enjoyed Arthur's contribution to the whole thing.

HAHa, Ariadne's getting ready is much like mine getting ready actually. I tend to dress first before I do hair and makeup. I have no idea why I just find it easier I guess.

Mr. and Mrs. Dixon are going to work the next few chapters!

Thanks for the feedback!

Walking the fine line between protective and condescending is very difficult, but you manage it well. Lovely Arthur as the "older brother" type in this story. And, heck, whoever thinks Arthur has no sense of humour must not have been watching the movie. I much more got the feeling that he's often amused, almost mischievous behind that prim and proper front. The boy wears his layers well.

Meanwhile - I'm very much with Ariadne on choosing the comfy underwear. Eames shall be amused once he sees. I love that she's no-nonsense about this, and, much as I liked the trope in a few stories, I doubt she's a virgin (which, heavens, why it's so problematic to have stories in which she's a virgin and they don't use a bloody condom), so it's not like she's clueless about what might happen. I'm thinking she's even playing / anticipating his reaction to this. Not that she'd admit it to herself ( ... )

Arthur most definitely has a sense of humor - he loved teasing Eames in the movie clearly. He just hides it well. A lot of times it feels like he is protrayed as a prim and proper but I think youre right.

Ariadne definitely is no virgin - and you're right, she's not clueless as to what might happen.

HAHA, I wish! I am sure I'll be spending the next few days doing paperwork..blech!
