Work was really boring last night. EXCEPT when I witnessed this guy run out the cafe door with a basket full of DVDs, jump into a car, and speed away. That was fuckin' nuts. I know this girl! She worked in the cafe for a couple days, then quit working at Borders because her schedule was too complicated to work around. She even told me about her audition with Robert DeNiro for her part in The Good Shepard...She was really pretentious. Dammit. That's why I didn't want to work Halloween. SO SLOW. And nobody really dressed up! Karen wore a Pink Ladies jacket after she saw me decked out, and the guys (i.e. Joey and Damon) wore suits, but were mostly dressed down by the time I got there. But I didn't mind - you know me, looking like a freak is cool as long as it's appreciated.

So the grand opening wasn't the big extravaganza it was made out to be. But it was still a busy day. Wasn't so bad for a 10 hour shift, though. Damon and I had some fun. We basically rock the shit out of that cafe. And hey, nearly $10 in tips each. Not too shabby.
