and people accuse transpeople of being selfish .. I'm sorry, but if your family's attitude is not selfish and self-centered I don't know what is .. and I know for a fact that it does not have to be this way because I have the 100% support and backing of my family.

Sorry for lurking but I was curious as to why you would be dealing with so much anxiety. This is a big one I am sure! I read this and just wished I could give you such a huge hug to make it all go away. Please don't ever let anyone tell you how you should look or feel. You should be offended. I can not believe that family would choose to judge you for your personal lifestyle rather than your achievements. It makes me ill that there are still people in this world that are so closed minded and afraid. I pity them because they will never experiance the quality of life that people like us have. Well I will stop intruding in your life but on a last note, don't EVER give a shit what anyone thinks about you. What is important is what you think of yourself because you have to look in the mirror everyday. Fuck 'em.
