Summary: Quinn is Rachel's Guardian Angel, meant to guide her through the hard times on her way to fame. However, connections like that can do curious things to a person.
A/N: So, not to get your hopes up, but this story isn't coming any time soon. I'm in the middle of writing it, having written just a little over 10K, and there's a whole lot that still needs to be said and done. Even worse, this preview isn't really about them, but more about the concept of a Guardian Angel. It's loosely based on a 'Whitelighter' from the old tv-show Charmed, in case anyone knows it. I'm mostly posting this to see if anyone would be interested in a story that's, well, AU like that. I have no idea if people will like the idea. So, let me know, please!
A/N 2: Another, possibly even more important reason for posting this is... I need a beta! I'm Dutch. My English is good, but it's certainly flawed. So if anyone would maybe like to beta for this story, well... that would be awesome!

Some people are just meant for something special. That’s the way it works. Great politicians, great artists, meant to save people, or to touch people in their own unique way. Sometimes, a person is born to serve a purpose. We call it faith or destiny. These people have something unique inside of them, and it’s just a matter of time before it comes out.
But there are times - more often than not - that the danger that all the possibilities never develop is just too great. That they’ll always remain inside the person, and all the great things they were supposed to do just never happen. That the person has everything they need inside of them, but they just need the right push, the right leverage.
These people- though they’ll never know themselves - can be granted a guardian angel to guide them through their lives. Your guardian angel will be like whatever you need them to be; like a brother or sister, like a parent, or a friend, or a mentor. They’ll never be part of your destiny, but they’ll be guiding you towards it.
Your guardian angel will stay with you throughout your entire life, distant or close, whatever is the best for the moment, because he or she doesn’t have a choice: they were born to guide you, and their souls are tied to yours in a way that can never be undone. And when you die, your angel dies with you.
A guardian angel lives a human life inside a mostly human body, sometimes with special powers. Sometimes these powers are necessary - the power of persuasion is a good example of that - but mostly they just develop overtime, due to the angel growing closer to the object of it’s guarding. Like the ability to feel the other, feel whatever they’re feeling, sometimes know what they’re thinking. But the guarded one never knows of it’s guardian; it is a silent, one-sided exchange.
Living your life for another person can do some really strange things to you.
Like in the case of Quinn Fabray, a guardian angel, born to live for Rachel Berry.
